Pleo's Next Step? LifeOS 1.1 is Here - April 2008
- Pleo now alters his attitude and emotions based on your interaction with him. A happy Pleo is one who receives a lot of attention while a sad Pleo is one who is neglected or abused.
- Pleo is exploring the world a lot more. UGOBE has spent time re-training Pleo how to see and detect objects and properly navigate around them.
- Pleo's making new and different sounds around here lately - many of them pretty funny!
- Being the social butterfly that he is, Pleo is listening for sounds even while resting.You may wake him up...and he'll want to join in on the fun.
- You will also notice that Pleo might occasionally get sick - coughing and sneezing! Can you nurse him back to health?
- Pleo has learned a new trick - he knows how to sit down and play!
- Petting Pleo on his chin for a long period of time will coax him to sing - after which he will remember the song he stopped on and use it to call for attention. Also, pairs and groups of Pleos have surprised us with some new singing abilities...
- Pleo can now visibly see his Training Leaf so he will respond accordingly.
- Owners can change the way Pleo walks - high-stepping allows for Pleo to more easily traverse difficult terrain like thick carpet.
- Pleo has been picking up some strange habits as of late too - we've seen itchy feet and excessive chewing. What's your Pleo up to?
- Don't worry, this update will not affect your Pleo's existing personality! But like any baby, Pleo's personality will change over time based on how he interacts with the world, and with you!

Pleo Gets more fun with the new 1.0.2 Update - March 2008
The 1.0.2 update will allow Pleo to:
- interact with its surroundings more convincingly,
- wake from rest if a noise is detected
- support a new grouped singing function
Ugobe releases 1.1 update for Pleo's software - April 2008
Ugobe, Inc. has released a new version of software for Pleo, their baby robot dinosaur. This update adds several new behaviors including singing, the ability to sit on his hind legs, a new high stepping gait to accommodate difficult carpets, and better recognition and interaction with his training leaf.
